Abstract

This workshop is designed to inform teenagers and adults on the impact and consequences of driving distracted.  Attendees will increase their knowledge in identifying dangerous behaviors while driving and learn how  imperative it is to practice safe driving habits. In addition, this course will provide examples of unsafe driving habits that can lead to accidents resulting in injury or death. 

Objectives

Goal: Encourage safe driving habits.

1. Provide a brief overview of distracted driving.
2. Increase knowledge by identifying bad driving habits.
3. Inform attendees of the laws and consequences of distracted driving.
4. Develop a safe driving checklist.
